Vietnamese is an Austroasiatic tonal language whose modern script, chữ Quốc ngữ, uses the Latin alphabet with stacked diacritics to mark tones and vowel qualities. It is the national language of Vietnam and is spoken by overseas communities in the United States, France and Australia. Vietnamese sites include news outlets, provincial portals, pho and street-food blogs, schools, pagodas and online shops.
